Throw away the cardigans Wayne. I have a few lovingly hand knitted jumpers which I created in 1968 for my husband (then fiancee but he still married me!) They were modeled on those sported by Val Doonican and are, as you can imagine very fetching. I would willingly swap these for two tickets for the Buxton Performance on Sunday so that our very best friends can accompany us. (no tickets available, your reputations go before you ! ) I would even make a cash adjustment or knit you one with a few arrows here and there. (I am not confusing you with Leapy Lee Wayne, I just thought you could look the part next time you are hijacked !) It will be our 38th wedding anniversary on Sunday Wayne and it would be so lovely if you would dedicate "Groovy kinda love" to Marie and John !! See you then. Take care x Reply to this

Well, I must say Wayne, you could not have had a better or more appreciative audience than you had in Buxton. It was the best concert ever.We always enjoy the Solid Silver 60s tour but the atmosphere last night was just brilliant. It was much better than the Liverpool concert. Even though it's coming towards the end of the tour, you all gave the impression that you were enjoying yourselves as much as we were Even those less fit and slim than yourself (Frank Alen and John Walker spring to mind...think they need to join you for your daily gym sessions. )managed to stick the pace !

Hi Wayne Hope you got your sat nav sorted when you were at peterborough recently. Have watched you and had lovely photos taken with you(well one of us is lovely?)at skeg and you never disappoint you loyal fans. I would like to know am I the only sane person you know? Not many of us about? But I am a huge fan of 60's music and if you read the Beat mag by David Parker then you will know that as I often write about 60's shows. When are you going to get in touch with David and tell us your life story (the clean part).Hope to see you at Springfields in oct.Why dont you have a fanclub website where we can buy your records, dvds photos? I love your dvd and your story at the end is a sad one. When did you start having "mad moments" was it your ambition to act insane or did it come naturally? Sorry I'm ssooooo nosey but you dont find out if you dont ask. Think you are fab really even though you have white hair like me(i'm not bald though) and I will always come and see you when you come to Lincolnshire. Have I bored you yet. I am known to go on a bit. Keep up the good work. Any chance of free lodgings at your villa in spain???? Your number one sane fan Jane. x Reply to this

I'm early 60s, it could be the ideal solution for mid drift spread. Roll it on over.
